1.1. Advance and Balance Payment: A minimum advance (as specified in the BOQ) shall be payable upon acceptance of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) before the expiry of the quotation validity period mentioned in the Quotation and Price validity clause. The remaining balance shall be paid prior to the earlier of either – the expiry of the pricing validity period, or the scheduled date of shipment.
1.2. Taxes and Duties: Unless expressly stated otherwise, all prices quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes, including but not limited to GST, duties, levies, and other statutory charges, which shall be charged extra as per prevailing laws.
2.1. Warranty Coverage: Hogar provides a limited warranty to the original end-user/customer against manufacturing defects as follows:
2.1.1. Curtain and Blind Motors are covered for a period of 60 months from the date of invoice.
2.1.2. All other Hogar products are covered for a period of 18 months from the date of invoice.
2.2. The warranty shall be valid only if the products are installed by authorized personnel of Hogar or its officially designated service providers.
2.3. This warranty shall be deemed null and void in the event that the installed Hogar products are moved, uninstalled, re-installed, or repaired by any unauthorized individuals or entities.
2.4. Smart home automation products – such as touch panels, smart modules, etc., contain sensitive electronic components that require proper protection against power fluctuations and voltage surges, regardless of the manufacturer. Unlike traditional mechanical switches, where power does not flow continuously due to a break in the circuit when switched off, power flow is constantly on for home automation products. Ensuring adequate surge protection helps maintain performance and prolong the lifespan of these devices. As per recommended industry standards, it is mandatory to use mainline or whole house voltage stabilizers to safeguard the installed smart home equipment from power fluctuations. Hogar will provide a suitable mainline or whole house voltage stabilizer as part of the BOQ and will ensure proper installation. This warranty shall be deemed null and void in the event that a mainline or whole house voltage stabilizer is not opted for by the client, and/or not installed prior to Hogar products’ installation.
2.5. This warranty shall be deemed null and void if Hogar products installed are damaged due to electrical short circuits or other such issues that may be caused during other electrical repairs/changes done at the site post installation of Hogar products.

3.1. Delivery shall be made within 6-8 weeks from the date of receipt of 100% payment by Hogar, subject to confirmation of the site readiness by the Hogar technical team.
4.1. The sale of any goods or provision of any related services (collectively referred to as the “Products”) as outlined in the Quotation is expressly subject to and conditioned upon acceptance of the terms and conditions stated herein.
4.2. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and the Company (Hogar) with respect to the subject matter of the Quotation. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements, proposals, representations, or communications relating to the same.
4.3. Any amendment, change order, revision, or termination to a previously accepted Quotation shall be valid only upon written approval by authorized personnel of Hogar.
4.4. The Technical Bill of Quantities (BOQ) must be prepared and issued exclusively by Hogar’s official team. Any deviation from the approved BOQ shall render the product warranty null and void.
5.1. All prices set forth in the Quotation (“Price”) are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR).
5.2. No terms contained herein shall be construed to modify or alter the quoted prices, quantities, or scope of Products, unless expressly agreed to in writing by authorized personnel of Hogar prior to the Customer’s acceptance of this Quotation.
5.3. The quoted BOQ prices are inclusive of shipping and installation charges, unless specified otherwise.
5.4. Prices for engraving of Touch Panels are not included in this Quotation and shall be charged separately, as applicable.
6.1. Hogar shall package all Products in accordance with its standard commercial packaging practices, suitable for safe domestic transport and handling.
6.2. In the event the Customer requires any special packaging, shipping, or handling instructions, such requirements must be communicated to Hogar in writing and in a timely manner. Any additional costs incurred due to such special requirements shall be borne solely by the Customer.
7.1. The delivery schedule provided in this Quotation is an approximate estimate only, based on current production timelines, workload, and confirmation of site readiness. While Hogar will make reasonable efforts to adhere to the stated schedule, it shall not be held liable for any delays, nor for any consequential damages or losses incurred by the Customer due to deviations from the estimated delivery timeline.
8.1. During the term of the Customer’s Purchase Order, both Supplier (Hogar) and the Customer, to the extent they are lawfully entitled to do so, may disclose or exchange proprietary or confidential information that is not publicly known (“Proprietary Information”), but only to the extent reasonably necessary for the performance of their respective obligations under this Quotation.
8.2. Each party agrees to treat such Proprietary Information as strictly confidential and to use it solely for the purpose for which it was disclosed. The obligations of confidentiality under this Clause shall survive for a period of three (3) years following the expiration or termination of this Quotation.

10.1. HOGAR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Products or this Quotation. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm, regardless of the legal theory under which such damages are claimed—whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise—even if HOGAR has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10.2. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, the maximum aggregate liability of HOGAR under or in connection with this Quotation shall be strictly limited to the actual total amount received from the Customer under this Quotation.
11.1. Hogar shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, or failure in performance, including delays in shipment or delivery, that result from causes beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to – accidents, fire, damages caused by lightning strikes, voltage fluctuations (beyond the rated capacities of Hogar products), strikes, lockouts, bandhs, riots, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, insurrection, war, natural disasters, embargoes, or any other force majeure event.
11.2. This exemption from liability shall also apply in circumstances such as:
11.2.1. Failure or delay by carriers,
11.2.2. Inability to secure transportation or logistics services,
11.2.3. Acts of God or public enemy,
11.2.4. Governmental actions, regulations, or restrictions,
11.2.5. Prior contractual commitments,
11.2.6. Shortages or limitations in the supply chain, whether affecting Hogar or its suppliers,
11.2.7. Or any other unforeseeable event beyond the reasonable control of Hogar that prevents or hinders performance under this Quotation.
12.1. Except as expressly stated herein, these Terms and Conditions are intended solely for the benefit of the Parties to this Quotation, along with their respective successors and permitted assigns. Nothing in this Quotation, whether express or implied, shall be construed to confer upon any third party any legal or equitable right, benefit, or remedy of any kind whatsoever, under or by reason of these Terms and Conditions.
13.1. The validity, interpretation, and performance of any contract arising from this Quotation shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India. The parties hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, India, for the resolution of any disputes.
13.2. All disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or in connection with this Quotation, including its interpretation, performance, or breach, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, India.
13.3. No modification, amendment, or waiver of any provision of these terms and conditions shall be valid unless it is made in writing and duly signed by authorized representatives of both parties.
14.1. Quotation Validity: This Quotation shall remain valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. Acceptance must be communicated in writing within this period unless otherwise extended by Hogar in writing.
14.2. Price Validity: The prices quoted herein shall remain firm and valid for a period of one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from the date of quotation, subject to the terms and conditions specified. Any orders placed after this period may be subject to price revision.
14.3. The prices set for the quotation are valid for the quotation only and shall not be applied for future orders.
15.1. If a cancellation request is raised within 15 days of advance payment, 100% of the advance paid will be refunded.
The following terms outline the scope of work and responsibilities associated with the installation and integration of HOGAR products:
1. HOGAR shall not install, program, or integrate any products that are not supplied by HOGAR or not specified in the finalized Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
2. HOGAR will provide the BOQ along with recommendations and guidance on electrical wiring layouts and gang box configurations, where applicable.
3. HOGAR shall not undertake any electrical, civil, carpentry, false ceiling works, or debris removal under this scope.
4. All areas designated for HOGAR product installation (e.g., wall spaces, headboards, wooden surfaces) must be properly prepared and free of obstructions prior to commencement.
5. HOGAR will not install products if a stable, fully functional Wi-Fi connection with the router is not installed at the site. Â
6. HOGAR will not install products if the electrical wiring is not complete and/or wiring and other connections are not closed and secured.
7. HOGAR will not install products unless a mainline or whole-house voltage stabilizer is installed and operational to safeguard equipment from power fluctuations. is installed and functional.
8. The worksite must be clean, dust-free, and clear of debris at the time of installation.
9. The client shall provide a dry, secure storage area for HOGAR-supplied materials. HOGAR will not be liable for any loss or damage due to inadequate storage or security.
10. HOGAR shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to electrical appliances, lights, or circuits caused by power surges or voltage fluctuations.
11. HOGAR will not be liable for any damage to its own or other products if loads exceeding the rated capacity of HOGAR devices are connected.
12. HOGAR is not responsible for cable laying for electrical circuits and will restrict its work to the installation of products on the existing circuits provided at the site.
13. Any modification to electrical circuits or gang boxes after the BOQ has been finalized must be communicated in writing to HOGAR. Depending on the extent of changes, the BOQ may be subject to revision.
14. Relocation of products after installation is strongly discouraged. HOGAR shall not be liable for any damages or operational issues arising from such post-installation alterations.
15. Hogar strongly recommends completion of all surface coatings (painting) work before the installation of HOGAR products at the site.
16. For LED light dimming applications, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the dimmable LED drivers used are compatible with phase-cut dimming technologies (leading-edge or trailing-edge), as required.
1. Touch Panels – Installation Guidelines
a. HOGAR shall be responsible for the installation of Touch Panels exclusively on walls equipped with suitable British Standard gang boxes. Any modification, replacement, or relocation of gang boxes shall remain outside the scope of HOGAR’s responsibility.
b. HOGAR shall not be responsible for any cutting, modification, or structural alteration of wooden walls, partitions, or furniture surfaces required for the installation of Touch Panels. These preparations must be completed by the client prior to installation.
c. HOGAR’s scope is limited to the installation and configuration of Touch Panels using the existing or client-designated electrical circuits. HOGAR shall not undertake cable laying or the extension of any electrical infrastructure beyond what is already made available at the site.
2. Retrofit Modules / In-Wall Modules – Installation Scope
a. HOGAR shall be responsible for the installation of Retrofit Modules for the designated and pre-identified electrical circuits as provided in the BOQ or client specifications.
b. HOGAR shall not be responsible for laying or extending any electrical wiring or circuits. Installation will be strictly limited to the available/requested circuits present at the site.
c. In retrofit configurations where Touch Panels are not being used, the provision of compatible bell push switches for dimming lights and fan speed control shall be under the scope of the client. HOGAR shall not be liable for their supply or compatibility.
d. For installations involving RGBW light strips, the supply of 12V adapters and the light strips themselves shall be the responsibility of the client. HOGAR shall integrate these only upon their proper availability and installation readiness.
3.Curtains
a. For standard-height curtain installations, the provision of a stable and secure safety ladder shall be under the client’s scope.
b. For installations at double height or higher, the installation schedule may vary due to increased safety requirements. In such cases, the client must provide industry-standard scaffolding and certified safety harnesses to ensure safe working conditions.
c. It is strongly recommended that control cables be routed to the gang box at standard switch height. This facilitates easier access, maintenance post-installation.
d. HOGAR’s scope is strictly limited to the supply and installation of curtain/blind motors and their associated accessories. The installation of curtain fabrics is not included and remains the client’s responsibility.
4. Door Locks
a. HOGAR will install smart door locks only on wooden doors that meet the required specifications. The recommended door thickness will be assessed and communicated during the BOQ inspection.
b. Please note that door locks cannot be installed on metal doors or on wooden doors containing internal metal reinforcements or bars.
c. HOGAR’s scope does not include debris removal or cleaning of wood dust or shavings generated during the installation process. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure post-installation site clean-up.
5. Controllers – Installation & Network Requirements
a. HOGAR will confirm the placement/location of the Controller or Gateway device during the site assessment. The client shall ensure provision of a suitable power supply and, where applicable, an Ethernet cable at the identified location.
b. In the case of a multi-gateway setup, the client must ensure that each planned gateway location is equipped with either: An Ethernet connection or stable Wi-Fi connectivity (recommended: 2.4GHz)
c. Additionally, all gateways should be configured to operate on the same network and be assigned dedicated/static IP addresses to ensure seamless integration and performance.
6. Security – Sensor Installation Guidelines
a. Security sensors shall be installed only on clean, dry, and dust-free surfaces to ensure optimal performance and durability. HOGAR strongly recommends that sensor installation be carried out only after all dependent civil, electrical, carpentry, or finishing works are fully completed at the site.
7. IR – Controller Installation Requirements
a. HOGAR will determine and confirm the appropriate location for the installation of the IR controller—either tabletop or ceiling-mounted—based on site conditions and device coverage requirements. The client shall be responsible for providing the necessary power supply at the designated location prior to installation.
